hi, my little princess is now 10 months old and...

hi, my little princess is now 10 months old and i would like to give her some raw apple but i am not sure how to besides grating it? she doesnt really like big chunks so i was just going to give her the whole thing and see how she goes but i am scared she will bite a big chunk off so i thought maybe someone out there could give me some ideas?? any ideas/tips would be great!
